Directorate of Students’ Affairs (DSA), Mimas(Muhammad Institute of Medical and Allied Sciences) focuses not only on the overall personality grooming of the students but also discipline, health facilities, workshops, career services, counseling services and financial assistance to the students in the back-drop of emerging modern trends in the education sector. This office was assigned the task of working for the promotion and facilitation of co-curricular and cultural activities. In a short span, DSA has been successfully providing a forum with fifteen functional societies which include Qirrat & Naat Society, Jinnah Debating Society, Quiz Society, Nusrat Fateh Ali Musical Society, MIMAS Writer’s Club, Dramatic & Performing Arts Society, Photography Society, Fashion Society, Painting Society, Handicraft Society, MIMAS Horticulture Society, MIMAS Blood Donor Society, MIMAS Rover Scouts Society, MIMAS Culinary Society, MIMAS Cultural Society to the students to express their recreational and literary talents. Life on campus for students, teaching and non-teaching staff is marked with multidimensional cultural functions and academic activity. Various seminars on current national and international issues are also been organized. Musical Evenings, Sham-e-Ghazal, Theatrical Performances by the students, Debate Competitions, Fun Fair and regular sports activities in the Institute keep the students involved in creative activities, polish their organizational skills thus keeping them away from getting themselves involved in any anti-social or extremist activity. All these pursuits are brining a high level of confidence among the students to emerge as a good citizen of the country.

Movement is salient to human life and forms an essential building block of the combined processes of surviving, growing, and evolving. Physiotherapy is the branch of health science which deals with the study of movement and of the processes that can be put in place in order to facilitate and/or restore one’s ability to move. Ali Ul Murtaza, Department of rehabilitation(AMDRS) has been upholding these processes in various capacities.
AMDRS renders its services through the outpatient department as well as ICUs and wards thus addressing a wide spectrum of conditions related to Musculoskeletal, Neurological, Cardiopulmonary, Dermatological, Gynecological and such other systems.

I represent my department with honor and pride. There are many famous names related to psychology who explore human nature and find solutions regarding human nature ad mental illness. Being a psychologist i have a message to all that always focus on yourself because when you focus on yourself you can easily treat others in well manner way. if we focus on definition of psychology “its a study of behavior and mind” so we are connected with science and as well as arts and we have run everybody together. Alhamdulilah the psychology increasing day by day. In our institute we teach our students with practical exposure as well in which the psychological test also conduct in proper way. I m very grateful to teaching here.
